India fest one of the major college festivals in our country done by channel V was an amazing success and what better place to host it in than Goa. The Sydenham team has done well as we qualified for Tamasha ( Drama) and Star CJ. We were more excited to be in Goa rather than the festival. The venue was near the famous baga beach in Goa and everything went really well as competition was tight since we faced colleges all over India.

Our journey from Mumbai was a lot of fun even though we had to share the bus with our competitors but we all got along really well.

I just couldn't resist the beach and I soon find out that I am not the only one as many other students gathered around taking in the sights, going for a quick dip and just having fun till early morning.

As far as the event goes I was happy with our performance even though we came back home empty handed. Fahad Choudary who participated in star CJ did a fantastic job and managed to get fans behind him. Well you got to admire talent. The pro nights were the main high lights of the event where Edward Maya performed on the first night and we all grooved to stereo love followed by Bollywood craziness the next night with an amazing performance by Mika. I have to admit though that Dj Diamond who performed before Edward Maya really got the crowd pumping and her mix of its my life by Bon Jovi got the crowd singing out loud. Other performances like The Other People were also good but I was absent for it unfortunately.

The toughest part was returning home and the bus ride never seem to end but at least we have memories.
