Hardly a week to go for the d day, Kalrav, the annual festival of DDUC is approaching and there is an air of expectancy amongst all DDUCities that it will prove to be a never –seen- before experience. I am too eagerly waiting for it and have been thinking to pen down something or the other related to this. And so I decided to bring the crew behind the whole planning thing into limelight .After all these young chaps do deserve some words of appreciation for making this possible. They call themselves the organizing committee of kalrav'12 (or the OC people in short). These noble souls were amongst those who decided to shoulder the responsibility of taking the fest to the next level. Headed by the president of student's union, DDUC, Devesh lalwani, the OC comprises of a core team, an extended core team and volunteers.

The headquarters of the OC is room no. n2 in the new block, from where all the plans and preparations are put into force. With about 25 individuals in the core team heading various departments like marketing, finance, promotion, registrations, discipline, informal events, sponsorships, etc., 25 of them taking in charge of other events like street play, basketball tournament, war of the DJ's, music and dance events, photography etc assisted by volunteers, all of them are working towards a common goal. Every now and then you can see these guys rushing all around the corridors, talking on phone, planning, making budgets etc. It feels good to see that these guys are taking things seriously. They are trying their level best to put everything in place. And I am sure they will be able to. Now not exaggerating too much and these guys are not just working, they enjoy while at work. Infact, they have built a strong connection between themselves. They laugh, work, play, discuss, enjoy together. It has turned out to be a closely knit family which is undergoing all phases of success and failure together but at no point breaks off. It is the combined efforts of these busy bees that Kalrav could make it to the list of top 10 college fests of Delhi University. I wish luck and prosperity for them. Keep up the good work guys...
