There is a large variety of flora and fauna in our campus and dogs are normally frowned
at on campus. As they say every dog has its day, if a lucky dog has its day it may get biscuits from some students. But in this vast breed of commoner dogs, there is a dog who is not a commoner, we call him Jackie.

Well we have very green hills behind our campus and whenever we go for a trek, many of us who initially planned for the trek might be found sleeping but not one trekker i.e. Jackie. Whether we want it or not, Jackie always follows us on the trek.

We sometimes lose our way on the hills and to our surprise Jackie shows us the way. Last time a group of students had visited the campus for a workshop on cryptology and they insisted on going for a trek and we took them for a trek, without any invitation, Jackie also came along.

Jackie climbed the hills with us but when a steep point came and we were pondering over the right path to take, Jackie quickly took a difficult path and we were all awestruck at this mountaineers abilities and just when we started praising Jackie, she came falling down the cliff onto a participant (who thankfully saved Jackie from injury). The participant shrieked and we did not know what to say to the participant as well as Jackie. Well Jackie is a she gave birth to 3 little pups. A lot of us play with those pups or let the pups come inside the hostel building when it is cold outside.

Playing with Jackie and the pups is fun and a lot of us have started to understand that everybody needs care and love be it humans or puppies.
