The journalism department is one big happening side in the college. To be a part of this you really need to work on a chunk of things. I don't think I should mention that being aware of the current affairs is most important. Your aptitude is tested on the basis of you being aware of the many things happening in the world, at least the nation. Believe me, once you are a part of this, nothing can serve your creative purposes better.
What keeps us all the time busy, is the work we do in the 'Journo Adda '. This is where we breathe. Our many documentaries, presentations, guest lectures, movie screening, debates and what not. Everything pertaining to Journalism is held here. Now I am not saying that we restrict ourselves to the adda what I mean to put across is that most of our activities pertaining media, are preferred to be held here in the adda. What makes this look the best is the presence of mind one has in this beautiful place. It has a big television set, a computer, a big green board and yes of course, a projector.
The room is painted with three lovely paintings of which one states- "Not everybody who wonder are lost". Our adda is so artistically made by us, that it takes us so much so get out of it when we are done with classes. One thing which is oh so not permitted in here is eating . No way, you will be penalized. That is how much we take care of it. Next time you visit the college, do not miss to hit the journo adda where lies the hearts of the many future journalists.
