January and February turn out to be the starriest months in a year. And I mean, 'Starry' in the sense of Film stars and actors. "Why?" you ask. Well of course it would be because of the AWARD Ceremonies. From the Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globe, Emmys, Grammys and Oscars in Hollywood to the Star, Zee and National awards in India, there is a barrage of award ceremony all over the world.

The room was ready, the trophies arranged, the seats placed, lists prepared, speeches created guests & recipients called and the acoustics managed. And we are set to present to you our Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony.

The event for the students of the Degree College was organized on the 25th January by the General Event Management Society (G.E.M.S., yes another one of the 20 clubs). The guest of honor was our respected Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Indu Shahani, who presented the students with their trophies. The teachers in charge of the event were Professor Chandani and Professor Rita Khatri. Nature Club (yes, yes another one..) also played an important role in making the event successful.

H.R. Superstar award was given to Mr. Jyotirmoy Chatterji, Mr. Rudreshwar Malkani and Mr. Nihal Daswani. The Principal's Special award was given to Ms. Afshan Memon. The other categories were All Rounder Award, General Leadership, Promising Young Leader, Star Performer and many more. All the students were delighted as their hard efforts had finally paid off. After working tirelessly for the purpose of the college as well one's own club or course, now was the opportunity to be rewarded for all the effort undertaken.
