I am spooky and I know it!

The month of January is the most busiest month in Jai Hind college. There are so many companies coming for placements, there are festivals held for unaided courses, there are projects, selection of new heads for the various committees in college. The BMM festival of National's College is coming up. It has the most unique name ever, it is called cutting chai. Their contingent name is equally unique Bhayanak Bhoots.

The entire BMM course had the other day lined up on the first floor. Reason, they were preparing for the various events at the festival. There was a girl in corner who was giving her auditions for the dance in the corner. Almost the entire FYBMM was sitting making colourful posters. Also the students were making Halloween lanterns which were the most colourful. The have an event in which the contingent has to do the PR of their contingent as a part of an event.

Festivals in our college just don't seem to end. Teachers tell us that festivals are a place where we can learn management, where we learn actual event management, and its true, managing an event is almost like a crash course on event management. I feel it is much bigger than that. When a college takes part in a festival it needs participation. We get a platform to showcase our hidden talents. We get to meet new people. We meet ten people with different attributes, different characteristics and we learn to handle all of them.

We need to bring many students who are reticent to participate in the event actually. They need to be cajoled, threatened to bring them to the venue, as all festivals have allocated participation points which are essential to win! Thus festivals are a very big event of learning, transforming students to managers.
