The cricket's quiz Howzzat! is one of the religious events of the BITS Pilani Hyderabad which even brings the geeks out of their rooms. In our country where cricket is a religion and Sachin even bigger than that, this is what holds all of us engineers together apart from sitcoms and laptops. Getting down to work, the organisers slogged as hard as Dhoni. The hard-work bore fruits to say the least, including zeroing down to a set of mind boggling questions on the history and what not of cricket. The winner definitely had to deserve his rupees 1000 prize money.

One may have seen a swarm of bees engulf and hold captive a being; it was a similar sight on the day of the event. The response was larger than life, swarming the auditorium were the eager participants in sets of two waiting to get through the intermediate rounds and reach the stage to be quizzed on their cricketing idols. The first round was for elimination. There was often a burst of laughter in response to certain answers of ignorant beings.

Only 6 extremely fanatic teams made it to the final round which comprised of 2 first year juniors to the surprise of all. Once again there was intense questioning of the sport including facts, statistics and history of the famous cricketing legends by the chosen quizmaster. The teams were right onto the buzzer with every question and the audience were with the teams in every step cheering and keeping stead of the enthusiasm of the whole event. After many rounds including pictures and rare videos and also one round purely dedicated to Sachin Tendulkar only two teams remained in bid to win it and it was to be decided via buzzer.

The final question was-"What is the field placing that has been deployed last in 2000 and only twice overall?!" The team leading hit the buzzer but couldn't answer and the second team answered with-"Steve Waugh against Zimbabwe where he put 9
