Pearl is one of the most popular cultural festivals in India, providing a platform for college students from across the country to exhibit their talents, while maintaining an element of fun. Pearl is a symbol of the spirit of every college student, a promise of an experience of a lifetime.

Pearl 2012, with its theme as World 1-2, has a new dimension. It will be a technical-cum-cultural festival, in particular to satisfy the scientist and engineer in each of us. With over 75 events and competitions, Pearl 2012 will no doubt be bigger and better than its previous editions.

Apart from the myriad of events and workshops lined up, as part of the international act, Thurisaz, a Belgian metal band will perform for the first time in India. We also have Benny Dayal and his troupe, all set to enthrall the audience.

Our signature events are Til' Deaf Do We Part - a semi-professional rock and metal band competition and Glitterati- the Fashion Parade. The preliminary rounds of Til' Deaf Do We Part will be held across various cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Guwahati. Perhaps the most popular event during Pearl, the winner, apart from a huge prize money, gets to open for the Belgian band Thurisaz.

For the first time Pearl 2012 will showcase War of the DJs, 3 hours of unbeatable energy, as the crowd dances to 8 semi-professional DJs battling out in the war of a lifetime. Apart from these main events, and the competitions to be held by every club, there will also be a number of informal events, which will ensure that the festival is not just about competition, but more importantly about having fun.
