National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NIT Warangal), formerly known as the Regional Engineering College, Warangal (RECW) is an undergraduate and post graduate engineering institute located in the city of Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the first Regional Engineering College established in India. The institute is spread across 256 acres of land divided by the national highway (NH 202). It is close to the Kazipet station making it easily accessible.

The institute provides Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in Engineering, Technology, Basic Sciences and Management. The streams offered in undergraduate courses are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Material Science Engineering, Biotechnology. In addition to these, Post Graduate programs are offered in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Management.

NIT Warangal hosts technical and cultural festivals during the academic year like Technozion (technical fest) and Springspree (cultural fest). In addition to these two, the institute also hosts Cura, a management event. The institute has a Student Activity Centre( SAC) for the students' recreational interests and student bodies including the Student Council and Clubs.

NIT Warangal as we know is one of the premier Engineering schools of India, maintaining an excellent academic record. The Institute's Training and Placement section provides a launch pad for students to make it to the best organizations in the fields of software, core industries, management, etc.
